Hadir pada kegiatan, Ketua TP PKK Kabupaten Balangan, Sri Huriyati Hadi beserta jajaran, Unsur Forkopimcam dan masyarakat Desa Kandang Jaya.
Ketua TP PKK Kabupaten Balangan, Sri Huriyati Hadi sangat menyambut baik dengan adanya kegiatan pasar murah tersebut.
Apalagi menurutnya hal ini bisa menjadi wujud konsistensi pemerintah daerah dengan menggandeng stakeholder terkait untuk menjaga stabilisasi pangan dan kebutuhan ekonomi lainnya di Kabupaten Balangan.
Sehingga Sri Huriyati Hadi berharap, melalui pasar murah tersebut masyarakat bisa terbantu dalam memperoleh kebutuhan pangan dengan harga yang lebih murah dan terjangkau.
Sementara itu, Kepala Bidang Standarisasi, Stabilisasi dan Pengawasan Perdagangan Kabupaten Balangan, Riza Kurniawan, menuturkan tujuan digelarnya pasar murah untuk menekan angka inflasi dan menjaga kestabilan serta ketersediaan bahan pokok pada perayaan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW.
“Selain dalam rangka pengendalian inflasi, kami merespon dari kegiatan tradisional keagamaan masyarakat yaitu Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW, yang mana biasanya terjadi pemborongan bahan pokok dari masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Riza mengharapkan dengan adanya pasar murah ini, ketersediaan berbagai komoditi pokok masyarakat bisa tercukupi. Selain itu, Kepala Desa Kandang Jaya, Turrahim, mengaku senang atas terselenggaranya kegiatan tersebut.
Turrahim juga mengapresiasi pemerintah daerah yang turut membantu mengendalikan harga pangan bagi masyarakat khususnya di desanya ini.
“Masyarakat sangat terbantu dengan adanya pasar murah apalagi penjualannya dengan harga yang lebih miring dan berharap semoga semakin banyak lagi diadakan pasar murah di pedesaan,” harapnya. (MC Balangan)
