BPBD Balangan Gelar Sosialisasi dan Edukasi Tanggap Bencana kepada Masyarakat

BALANGAN, dnusantarapost.com – Untuk mendukung masyarakat tangguh dan tanggap dalam menghadapi bencana, Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Balangan gelar Sosialisasi dan Edukasi Tanggap Bencana di Desa Balang.

Kepala Pelaksana BPBD Balangan H Rahmi melalui Kabid Pencegahan dan Kesiapsiagaan, Surya Dharma, Senin (8/1/2024) mengatakan, sosialisasi ini merupakan upaya mitigasi bencana dan meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam menghadapi ancaman bencana yang bisa terjadi kapan saja, terutama baik itu banjir dan kebakaran.

“Langkah-langkah yang kami lakukan adalah sosialisasi pencegahan hingga simulasi pencegahan kebakaran,” katanya.

Ia berharap kedepan dengan adanya kegiatan ini, maka kapasitas masyarakat terutama di Desa Balang dalam meningkatkan pencegahan bencana semakin baik dan mampu memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat.

“Dengan adanya kegiatan ini bisa memberikan pemahaman yang jelas terhadap masyarakat terkait bencana banjir dan kebakaran,” harapnya. (Mc Balangan)
