KPU Balangan Ajukan Penambahan Dapil ke KPU RI. Begini Respon Ketua DPC Demokrat Balangan

𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻, 𝗗𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁.𝗰𝗼𝗺- Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Balangan berencana melakukan penambahan daerah pemilihan (Dapil) ke KPU Republik Indonesia.

“Wacana penambahan dapil tersebut memang sudah diusulkan ke KPU RI” kata Ketua KPU Balangan, Saripani Rabu (30/11/22) di Paringin.

“Dalam rancangan daerah KPU Kabupaten Balangan sendiri mengajukan opsi penambahan Dapil yang mulanya tiga Dapil menjadi empat Dapil,” tambahnya.

Saripani menjelaskan, pada rancangan Dapil baru tersebut, Dapil satu meliputi Kecamatan Paringin dan Paringin Selatan, Dapil dua meliputi Kecamatan Juai dan Halong, Dapil tiga meliputi Kecamatan Batumandi dan Lampihong serta Dapil empat meliputi Kecamatan Awayan dan Tebing Tinggi.

“Sebelumnya Balangan sendiri hanya terbagi menjadi tiga Dapil yaitu Dapil pertama meliputi Kecamatan Paringin, Paringin Selatan dan Lampihong. Dapil dua Kecamatan Juai dan Halong serta Dapil tiga Kecamatan Batumandi, Awayan dan Tebing Tinggi,” sebutnya.

Terpisah, Ketua DPC Partai Demokrat Kabupaten Balangan Syamsudinoor, mengaku sangat mendukung realisasi penambahan Dapil ini, mengingat volume durasi yang dilaksanakan pada Pemilu 2024 sangat banyak.

Menurut Syamsudinoor, dengan adanya perubahan Dapil ini akan lebih proporsional, yaitu dengan wilayah lebih kecil, tentu pelaksanaan pemilu lebih akuntabel, transparan dan lebih penting dalam sisi kemanusiaan.

Menurutnya lagi, Kalau secara politik maka peserta yang ikut dirugikan apabila ada perubahan Dapil, mengingat selama ini pembinaan konstituen dilakukan oleh individu kader menjadi terbagi.

“Misalnya Dapil satu sebelumnya Kecamatan Paringin, Kecamatan Paringin Selatan dan Kecamatan Lampihong yang sudah terkoneksi menjadi terbelah atau terpisah. Tetapi demi kepentingan yang lebih besar pihaknya pribadi tidak mempermasalahkannya,” pungkasnya.
