Balangan, dnusantarapost.com – Mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) dari Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pertanian (STIPER) Amuntai mengunjungi Dinas Kesehatan Balangan bersama Nur Hafizah, selaku Ketua Pelaksana KKN pada Rabu (20/092023).
Kunjungan ini bertujuan dalam rangka kegiatan Mahasiswa Peduli Stunting (Mahasiswa Penting) yang merupakan program Nasional Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM).
Program ini adalah bentuk pendampingan guna mengurangi prevalensi stunting pada kelompok yang dikira beresiko, khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Balangan.
Kedatangan mereka disambut H. Sauqi, selaku Sekretaris Dinkes Balangan dan didampingi salah satu Kepala Bidang Dinkes Balangan, H. Bejo.
Sauqi mengungkapkan bahwa ia sangat senang dengan adanya program KKN yang mempunyai program pendampingan stunting dan sangat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat.
“Hal ini sangat bermanfaat bagi warga Balangan dalam rangka menurunkan stunting melalui kegiatan pertanian yaitu meningkatkan konsumsi pangan yang bergizi dan bermanfaat bagi pertumbuhan balita, maupun ibu menyusui” ucap Sauqi
Ia juga menyampaikan bahwa mereka atas nama Pemerintah Kabupaten Balangan sangat mengapresiasi kunjungan Mahasiswa STIPER Amuntai yang memilih Kabupaten Balangan sebagai tujuan KKN nya.
Selain itu menurutnya, dengan kehadiran para Mahasiswa STIPER Amuntai ia berharap dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat di desa yang menjadi program KKN mereka.
“Harapannya dengan kehadiran mereka, dapat berdampak positif terhadap masyarakat Balangan sesuai dengan proker yang mereka siapkan dan laksanakan, sebagai informasi kegiatan mereka akan berlangsung dari tanggal 19 September sampai tanggal 19 Desember 2023 dengan penempatan peserta di beberapa desa yang ada di Kabupaten Balangan,”Jelas Sauqi.
Sementara itu salah satu peserta KKN Nur Hafizah mengungkapkan, kehadiran mereka di Dinkes Balangan ini bertujuan untuk bertatap muka sekaligus meminta izin dan menjelaskan program yang mereka jalani dengan berkolaborasi bersama Dinkes Balangan nantinya.
Jumlah Mahasiswa pada KKN ini ada 30 orang dengan 5 orang di 6 desa meliputi, Desa Telaga Purun Kecamatan Paringin Selatan, Desa Hukai Kecamatan Juai, Desa Bata Kecamatan Juai, Desa Mundar Kecamatan Lampihong, dan Desa Tampang Kecamatan Lampihong yang ditempatkan di rumah penduduk setempat.(AH)
